R13 was founded in New York in 2009 and quickly established itself in the premium denim market with its rebellious aesthetic, including distressed jeans, punk-inspired leather jackets,and ripped knitwear. Founder and designer Chris Leba spent 19 years at Ralph Lauren before stepping into the spotlight at New York Fashion Week in 2016. Drawing inspiration from 1980s and 1990s Grunge culture and underground street spirit, R13 reinterprets classic American sportswear through a bold and subversive lens.
