For over a decade, founder and designer Chris Leba maintained a low profile in the fashion industry, until 2016 when he concluded his 19-year design career at Ralph Lauren and began to publicly showcase his work on the New York Fashion Week runway. For Chris Leba, R13 represents the brighter side of his vision, capturing an American street spirit filled with subculture and an underground vibe. The designer reinterprets classic American sportswear through his love for 80s and 90s grunge, blending these aesthetic elements into the core style of R13.
