[Brand Introduction]

AMI means “friend” in French, and it also represents the initials of its founder and designer, Alexandre Mattiussi.
Alexandre studied fashion design at the Duperré School of Applied Arts in Paris and has an impressive background—he interned at Dior Homme and later became the head assistant for Givenchy menswear as well as a menswear designer at Marc Jacobs. In 2011, at the age of 30, he launched his own brand.AMI embodies a relaxed, authentic, and friendly approach to fashion. It channels a youthful, effortless Parisian style through sophisticated silhouettes. From its best-selling “AMI De Coeur” motif—featuring a heart combined with a capital letter “A”—to its frequently used slogan “We Are F.AMI.LY,” the brand’s identity is rooted in friendship and community, which is exactly what makes AMI so captivating.
